Buddha group of institutions have a long legacy and started from a simple beginning of a Sanskrit Sastri School in 1920. The founder Manager of the school was Varanapallil Ummini Kunju Panicker laid the foundation of the School in the year 1920, which has now flourished enormously and is acting as a leading institution in this coastal belt with Buddha Education Centre Central School (BCS) – CBSE affiliated English Medium, B Ed college, Buddha College of Teacher Education and Del Ed College (BCTE) and Buddha School of Elementary Teachers Training Institute(BSETTI).
